With anticipation of the full roll out of the National Broadband Network, there is much discussion of its application to the health sector across rural and regional Australia.

RockSolid is steadily building a portfolio of clients that focus on this sector, including the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA.) The new RDAA website is due for launch in October this year. The site will deliver information to doctors in the bush as well as serving as a platform for the organisation to lobby on behalf of its members.

Over the last 12 months RockSolid has completed two other projects in the health sector, that both had a strong focus on audiences in regional and rural parts of Australia. Livewire www.livewire.org.au is a social networking site designed for young people living with serious illness, chronic health conditions or disabilities.

RockSolid also managed and developed an information portal for health care professionals, for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Australia. The site mndcare.net.au includes an interactive directory designed to assist doctors and other health care professionals to find appropriate services to assist their patients in difference parts of the country.
