RockSolid have developed a bi-lingual website which promotes a trade investment conference in Kuwait.
The conference has been organised by the Basra Development Commission, which is a joint initiative between the British and Iraqi governments.
RockSolid CMSTM , RockSolid's content management system, was configured to support the entry of Arabic, which is a right-to-left language.
RockSolid Director, Sean Mullin, explained "Your audience needs to be first and foremost when designing websites. There are differences between websites that target different geographical regions, that go beyond just the language of the site. The work we carried out for the Basra Development Commission required consideration of the way Arabic is typically presented in print and on screen by native speakers."
As part of the website implementation, RockSolid developed two versions of each page template so that Arabic pages, presented content in the style of native Arabic websites.
